Get4Less Ghana has hosted a high level delegation from Hikvision, led by the company’s President, Mr. Xu Peng, in an engagement that signals growing strategic interest in Ghana’s technology and intelligent security market.

The visit brought together senior executives from Hikvision’s global, international, Middle East and Africa, human resources and African operations, highlighting the importance attached to the company’s relationship with Get4Less Ghana and the broader Ghanaian market.

Mr. Xu Peng was accompanied by Ms. He Hongli (Cynthia He), President of Hikvision International Business; Mr. Zhang Liang (Frank Zhang), President of Hikvision MEA; Mr. Tang Youen (Allen Tang), President of Hikvision Human Resources; and Mr. Guo Yong (Matthew Guo), CEO of Hikvision Africa.

The delegation was received by the leadership of Get4Less Ghana, including Mr. Hassan Eldor, Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Jafaar Eldor, Sales Director; Mr. Sohail Kheder, Hikvision Manager; and Mr. Ransford Asamoah Parker, Head of Digital, Customer Experience and Quality.

The high level engagement provided a platform for executives from the two organisations to examine developments within Ghana’s technology landscape and assess opportunities for strengthening their existing business relationship.

Discussions focused on the changing needs of Ghanaian consumers and businesses, particularly as demand grows for intelligent security, surveillance, connectivity and other technology driven solutions.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for the companies to exchange perspectives on market trends and the importance of ensuring that sophisticated technology solutions are accessible, properly supported and responsive to local customer requirements.

For Get4Less Ghana, the engagement forms part of its broader efforts to maintain strong relationships with leading international technology brands while improving the availability and delivery of technology products and services to customers.

The presence of Hikvision’s global leadership in Accra also provided a significant opportunity for the company to gain first hand perspectives on Ghana’s business environment and the opportunities emerging within the country’s rapidly evolving technology ecosystem.

Ghana has increasingly become an important commercial and technological hub in West Africa, with businesses, financial institutions, public sector organisations and households adopting digital technologies to improve efficiency, safety and connectivity.

Within this changing environment, intelligent security technologies are becoming increasingly relevant as organisations seek more sophisticated ways of protecting people, property, information and critical infrastructure.

Hikvision has established a substantial international presence in video surveillance and related technology solutions, while Get4Less Ghana operates within the country’s consumer electronics and technology retail sector.

The relationship between the two companies therefore brings together international technology expertise and local market knowledge, creating opportunities for solutions to be introduced and supported with a clearer understanding of Ghanaian customer expectations.

Executives from both organisations also considered the importance of customer experience, recognising that the value of technology extends beyond the initial sale to include product knowledge, technical support, service delivery and long term customer engagement.

For Get4Less, maintaining close collaboration with global technology partners is central to its efforts to strengthen its presence within Ghana’s competitive electronics and technology marketplace.

The engagement further demonstrates the growing importance of partnerships between international technology companies and established local businesses capable of understanding market dynamics and connecting global innovations with customers on the ground.

Beyond the formal business discussions, the engagement continued over dinner in Accra, where executives from both organisations had further opportunities to exchange views on technology, business development, market trends and the future direction of their relationship.

The informal setting provided additional space for the executives to discuss areas of mutual interest while building stronger personal and professional connections between the two teams.

The visit comes at a time when technological advancement is reshaping how businesses and institutions approach security, customer engagement, operations and service delivery across Ghana and the wider African market.

As digital transformation accelerates, the ability to combine innovative technology with reliable local distribution and customer support is becoming increasingly important to technology companies seeking sustainable growth in emerging markets.

The engagement between Hikvision and Get4Less consequently extends beyond products and commercial transactions, reflecting a broader conversation about how international technology solutions can be effectively introduced, delivered and supported within Ghana.

For customers, stronger collaboration between global manufacturers and local technology businesses could contribute to improved access to products, professional expertise, after sales support and solutions tailored to evolving market requirements.

For the companies, the engagement offers an opportunity to deepen understanding of the market while identifying areas in which their respective capabilities can complement one another.

The presence of Hikvision’s senior global and African leadership in Ghana ultimately underscored the strategic value of the country’s technology market and the importance of sustained engagement with local business partners.

Both teams expressed optimism about the opportunities ahead and the continued development of their business relationship, with the visit serving as another milestone in efforts to strengthen technology partnerships and contribute to Ghana’s expanding digital and intelligent security ecosystem.
