Kings University College has been officially accredited as a study centre by the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG), enabling it to deliver programmes aligned with CIMG’s professional standards.
The collaboration allows students and professionals to pursue recognised marketing qualifications alongside their academic studies, creating a pathway to attain chartered status. Professor Albert A. Addo-Quaye said the partnership equips students with the practical skills and industry insights necessary to succeed in a competitive business environment.
CIMG National President Michael Abbiw highlighted that the accreditation addresses a longstanding skills gap by integrating professional certification with academic training. He added that the initiative benefits not only marketing students but also those in journalism, sociology, information studies, and other disciplines where marketing knowledge is increasingly relevant.
The agreement signals a strategic move to strengthen industry readiness among Ghanaian graduates, ensuring they leave higher education with both academic and professional credentials in marketing.
