Kyeremeh Oppong Daniel (KOD) and members of the Keen On Development Foundation have donated GHC 10,000 and 50 bags of cement to victims of the recent fire outbreak at the Kumasi trading center.
Speaking during the donation event, KOD emphasized the Foundation’s commitment to supporting communities in need, noting that they could not stand by while others were stepping forward to assist.
“A lot of people have come here to make donations. As a Foundation that works in the interest of people, we couldn’t sit aloft without doing something,” he stated. “We are truly touched by the plight of our mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters affected by this tragedy.”
He also pledged the Foundation’s continued support, assuring the affected traders that more assistance would be provided in the coming weeks.
The traders who benefited from the donation expressed deep gratitude to KOD and the Keen On Development Foundation, describing the gesture as timely and crucial in helping them rebuild their lives and businesses.
