Ghanaian actor and media personality Kwaku Manu has disclosed that his relationship with fellow Kumawood stars Lil Win and Agya Koo is primarily professional, despite their long association within the Ghanaian movie industry.
According to Kwaku Manu, the fact that they have worked in the same industry does not necessarily mean the three actors maintain close personal relationships.
Speaking in an interview with Tony Best on Akoma 87.9 FM’s Entertainment 360 on Saturday, September 5, 2026, the actor described Lil Win and Agya Koo as colleagues rather than close friends.
He said their interactions have largely been shaped by their professional engagements in the Kumawood movie industry.
“Lil Win, Agya Koo, and I are colleagues, but we are not friends,” Kwaku Manu said.
Kwaku Manu, however, suggested that he is open to resolving issues with Lil Win, indicating that there are matters between them that he would like to address personally.
He expressed his desire to meet Lil Win and have a conversation with him, although he stopped short of explaining what had caused the issues between the two actors.
The disclosure offers insight into the personal dynamics among some of the most recognisable faces in Kumawood, an industry in which actors frequently collaborate on productions and public events.
Kwaku Manu and Lil Win have both built successful careers in the Kumawood movie industry, while veteran actor Agya Koo remains one of the genre’s most prominent figures.
Despite their professional association, Kwaku Manu’s comments suggest that working together in the same entertainment space does not necessarily translate into close personal friendships.
