In a moving moment of generational faith and legacy, Nino Idibia—the son of Nigerian music icon Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and motivational speaker Sunmbo Adeoye—has graduated from the Maturity Bible Course at the Royalty Life Development Institute, echoing a path his mother walked nearly two decades ago.
The proud mother and now faculty member of the same institute, Sunmbo, shared the emotional milestone on Instagram, noting that her son’s graduation mirrored a pivotal turning point in her own spiritual journey 18 years ago.
“From student to faculty, and now a proud mother, this full-circle moment is a testimony to the power of consistency, vision, and legacy,” she wrote.
Nino was recognized as one of the best students in the May 2025 graduating class, an achievement celebrated by his mother, church leaders, and an outpouring of online support. Wearing his graduation gown and medal, Nino stood beside Sunmbo and faculty leaders, including Pastor Solomon Ughulu, as he was honoured for his dedication and excellence.
Sunmbo expressed deep gratitude to the leadership of Royalty Christian Centre, especially Pastor David Adeoye, for fostering an environment that cultivates purpose and growth.
The graduation is more than an academic milestone—it marks a spiritual and generational baton pass rooted in Christian values, discipline, and purpose. For Sunmbo and Nino, it’s a powerful testament to the impact of faith-driven parenting and enduring vision.
“I am the happiest and most grateful to God,” she concluded.
