Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has dismissed claims that the Presidency has ordered an investigation into former President Nana Akufo-Addo’s travels.
In a statement on Friday, March 28, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu called the reports false and urged the public to disregard them. He clarified that no directive had been given to the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) to probe the former President’s official trips.
His response follows reports suggesting that President John Mahama had instructed the NIB to investigate Akufo-Addo’s travels, a claim government officials say is untrue.
