SIC Insurance PLC has reaffirmed its financial strength and operational resilience after disbursing a total of GHS107.6 million in claims to policyholders in 2025.
The substantial payout, covering various insurance policies, highlights the company’s liquidity position and capacity to honour claims promptly, even amid rising industry demands.
Managing Director James Agyeinim Boateng disclosed the figures in a statement, noting that the payments demonstrate SIC’s readiness to support clients in times of unexpected loss.
He explained that the company’s robust reinsurance arrangements and sound financial management have enabled it to meet its obligations efficiently, reinforcing public confidence in its services.
According to Mr Boateng, the claims settlement forms part of SIC’s broader commitment to providing a dependable safety net for individuals and businesses.
“Insurance is a safety net that helps you bounce back when life throws you a curveball,” he stated, underscoring the company’s focus on helping clients recover quickly and resume normal operations with minimal disruption.
The payout comes at a time when confidence in claims settlement remains a critical measure of performance within Ghana’s insurance industry. By settling over GHS107 million in claims, SIC positions itself as a key player committed to reliability and customer assurance.
Mr Boateng added that the company remains focused on strengthening its operations, enhancing service delivery, and expanding comprehensive insurance coverage nationwide.
The development signals SIC Insurance’s continued drive to combine financial stability with customer-centered service in Ghana’s general insurance market.
