The Black Starlets have intensified preparations for their second friendly against Morocco’s U-17 side after stepping up training on Monday.
Coach Kassim Ocansey and his technical team increased the intensity of the session as the players worked on fitness, tactical organisation and attacking play.
The session followed Sunday’s recovery programme, introduced after Ghana’s 2-0 victory over Morocco in the opening friendly.
Hope Agbasi put the Black Starlets ahead in the first game before Alidu Issah converted from the penalty spot to seal the victory.
With another test against Morocco approaching, the technical team is expected to use the game to assess the players further and fine-tune the squad ahead of the WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship.
The Black Starlets will meet Morocco U-17 on Wednesday in the second of the two scheduled friendlies.
The WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship will also serve as the qualifying competition for the 2027 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
