BridgeZone Global has been spotlighted on the international stage with a prestigious citation at the 2025 Black History Festival in Atlanta, USA, in recognition of its groundbreaking work reconnecting Africa with its global diaspora.
Held at the Georgia International Convention Center under the theme “Bridging Continents, Celebrating Legacies, and Promoting Trade,” the festival served as a vibrant convergence of African and diaspora voices — from diplomats and government officials to grassroots leaders and creatives.
BridgeZone Global, led by its visionary president Prince Anthony Bart-Appiah, was honoured for championing cross-continental partnerships that drive investment, cultural diplomacy, and socio-economic development across Africa and the diaspora. The award recognized the organisation’s strategic efforts to build sustainable bridges that reconnect African descendants with their roots through education, tourism, culture, and trade.
“This citation belongs to all of us—the visionaries, the believers, and the bridge-builders,” Bart-Appiah said in an emotional acceptance speech. “BridgeZone Global was born out of a belief that Africa’s future is global, and the diaspora is not just a memory of the past, but a powerful key to our collective transformation.”
A statement shared with the Ghana News Agency emphasized the organisation’s pivotal role in sparking a new era of collaboration rooted in African identity and shared prosperity.
The festival attracted a distinguished roster of leaders, including Ambassador Hilda Suka-Mafudze (AU Permanent Representative to the U.S.), Ghana’s Tourism Minister Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Kofi Okyere Darko from the Office of the President, and Krishna Camarena Surgeon, head of Panama’s Afro-Panamanian development agency.
The presence of such dignitaries underscored the rising momentum behind global African unity and the efforts of organisations like BridgeZone Global that are translating vision into impactful action.
“The river may bend, but it never forgets its source,” the festival organisers remarked, noting that Africa and its diaspora are forging ahead with renewed purpose, unity, and resolve — with BridgeZone Global at the helm of this renaissance.
