The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Mr. Simon Madjie (Esq), has reaffirmed the Centre’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment and strengthening partnerships with long-standing investors in Ghana.
He made this known during a working visit to FanMilk Ghana, one of the country’s leading manufacturers with a 65-year legacy in the Ghanaian market.
The visit forms part of GIPC’s broader initiative to engage directly with key investors to better understand their operational experiences and contributions to the national economy.
Welcoming the GIPC delegation, FanMilk’s Managing Director, Mr. Lionel Parent, highlighted the company’s sustained investment under the ownership of global food giant Danone.
He noted a recent USD 25 million factory expansion, which has generated hundreds of skilled employment opportunities for Ghanaians.
Mr. Parent also shared FanMilk’s strategic vision to transform Ghana into an export hub for its products across West Africa, positioning the country as a driver of intra-regional trade and inclusive economic growth.
In his remarks, Mr. Madjie commended FanMilk for its long-standing contribution to Ghana’s industrial development and its strong focus on staff welfare and career progression.
He praised the inspiring story of Mr. Dawuda Otoo, who advanced from dispatch rider to supervisor, as an example of the company’s dedication to employee development.
He assured FanMilk of GIPC’s continued support as it expands its operations and contributes to Ghana’s economic transformation agenda.
