The Ministry of Health has announced the commencement of its recruitment process for newly qualified Medical Officers who have completed their mandatory housemanship and have been verified by the Medical and Dental Council as part of the 34th and 35th batches.
The recruitment exercise is set to open on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., and will run until Monday, May 26, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., giving eligible candidates a 10-day window to apply.
Qualified applicants are required to submit their applications through the Ministry’s dedicated online portal at https://hr.moh.gov.gh. Candidates must carefully follow the instructions provided on the platform, including selecting their preferred agency under the Ministry.
In a statement, the Ministry emphasized that the recruitment process is entirely transparent and free of charge, cautioning applicants against falling prey to fraudsters who may seek to exploit the process.
“We wish to remind all applicants that no form of payment is required as part of this recruitment exercise. Any applicant who makes payments to individuals or third parties in the hope of gaining employment does so at their own risk,” the Ministry stressed.
The statement also urged candidates to avoid middlemen and unauthorized agents, highlighting the importance of directly engaging with the Ministry’s official communication channels for accurate information.
This recruitment exercise is expected to address staffing needs in various health facilities across the country, as the government continues to strengthen the healthcare sector to improve patient care and service delivery.
