1) Respectfully, everyone will bear witness that Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus), was once—a man who stood firmly by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from as far back as 2008, through to their days in opposition, until the victory of 2016 that brought Akufo-Addo to power. A Plus was a frontliner—defending, campaigning, & projecting the NPP brand strategically.
2) When Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo assumed office in January 2017, it took less than five months for A Plus to start enjoying the fruits of the administration he helped bring to power. A contract worth $3 million was awarded to him through BOST. Was that wrong? Not necessarily—he earned his space, he contributed his quota. But then came the dramatic twist.
3) Barely two months later, A Plus launched a scathing public attack on the two Deputy Chiefs of Staff—Samuel Abu Jinapor and Francis Asenso-Boakye—calling them corrupt, thieves and using very unpalatable language with serious allegations. President Akufo-Addo, committed to transparency, called for investigations. A Plus claimed he had evidence. We all waited. Eventually, the investigations concluded that his accusations were baseless. What did he do? He publicly apologized that he was taken out of content. That’s the same A Plus we’re talking about.
4) After this debacle, the President began to distance himself from A Plus—and rightly Frankly, A Plus continued to enjoy privileges to an extend he was attending Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital Board meetings with his boss, Dr. Felix Anyah, then CEO of the hospital, despite not being a bord member.
5) Kwame A Plus was so influential that he was being given free state fuel from the Castle for close to two years, when he wasn’t a government appointee. These are not privileges even loyal NPP footsoldiers and patriots could dream of.
6) However, when Dr. Felix Anyah appointment was terminated on June 6, 2018, everything changed. Kwame A Plus, relationship with the NPP soured deeply. He became bitter—publicly lashing out at the President, ministers, and party executives at every opportunity. And guess who began cheering him on? The NDC.
7) Yes, the same NDC that once had no love for A Plus now began to praise and promote his commentary—using him as a weapon against the NPP, despite knowing fully well that this was a man driven more by personal vendetta than principle. He was given a platform, he was amplified, and he became a darling of the opposition and was dinning with the bigwigs.

Fast forward, Today, the same A Plus has turned his guns on the NDC, particularly targeting their Attorney General. As an independent member of Parliament who has formed an alliance with the NDC caucus in Parliament, one would expect a sense of loyalty or decorum. But certainly not Kwame A Plus.
9) Recent Days, he launched an explosive attack on the Attorney General, accusing him of being corrupt and a thief & boldly stating that if he (AG) tries anything silly, he would expose him. This is the same A Plus who once accused others in power without evidence and later had to apologize. The Attorney General, in response, dared him to go ahead—declaring he was ready to walk in the mud with him.
10) And how did A Plus respond? He insulted the AG using the most un-parliamentary and offensive language, If you are an old fool, I will reset your brain. Stupid man!
11) Now, the same NDC that once celebrated Kwame A Plus’s unfiltered attacks on Nana Addo and the NPP is now uncomfortable. They are disowning him, insulting him, and realizing the truth, the monster they helped to feed is now turning back to bite them.
12) This should serve as a political lesson to everyone, You do not empower bitterness, opportunism, and chaos for temporary gain. It will come back to haunt you.
13) Kwame A Plus is not driven by ideology. He is driven by emotions and personal interests. He was a hero to the NPP, then an enemy. He became a hero to the NDC, now he’s turning into their worst nightmare.
