Makhtar Diop, Managing Director of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), has called on Ghana to harness the potential of its diaspora to fuel national development during a high-level meeting with Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson. The meeting, aimed at reinforcing Ghana’s relationship with the global development finance institution, explored strategic investment opportunities that could boost productivity and economic returns.
Diop highlighted the untapped potential of Ghana’s diaspora, urging the country to fully leverage this resource for growth. He also stressed the importance of focusing investments in targeted sectors to maximize productivity.
