The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Nkwanta North, Mr Isaiah Kudjoe Dordoe, has called for stronger collaboration between government officials and party stakeholders to accelerate development and address challenges confronting communities in the district.
He made the call at an Accountability Meeting held with key stakeholders of the governing party to provide updates on his stewardship and ongoing government projects across the district.
The engagement brought together Regional and Constituency Executives, former party executives and former DCEs, former and current Election Directorate members, Assembly Members, Ward Coordinators and the District Communicator.
Mr Dordoe said regular engagement with stakeholders was essential to improving coordination, identifying community concerns and ensuring that government interventions responded effectively to the needs of residents.
He used the meeting to highlight progress made in road development, potable water supply, education, electricity and other development initiatives being implemented in the district.
The DCE said the Accountability Meeting was also intended to promote transparency and create an avenue for party stakeholders to contribute to discussions on the implementation of government programmes.
Participants raised concerns, sought clarification and offered suggestions on development challenges and ways of improving the delivery of government interventions in their respective communities.
Mr Dordoe expressed appreciation to the stakeholders for their continued support and cooperation, and urged them to remain united and committed to the government’s development agenda.
He assured them that he would sustain regular consultations with party executives, Assembly Members and other relevant stakeholders to find practical solutions to challenges confronting the district.
The DCE further urged stakeholders to maintain open channels of communication and work collectively to promote peace, unity and sustainable development in Nkwanta North.
Following the engagement, party executives expressed confidence in Mr Dordoe’s leadership, describing the initiative as an important platform for discussing both development concerns and party-related issues.
They commended the DCE for his openness and willingness to account for his stewardship, and encouraged him to continue with the initiative as a means of promoting transparency, effective governance and stronger cooperation in the district.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment from stakeholders to deepen collaboration and share responsibility in advancing the development of Nkwanta North.
