The National Petroleum Authority (NPA), under the leadership of its Acting Chief Executive, Godwin Kudzo Tameklo Esq., has reinforced its dedication to corporate social responsibility and religious unity by extending support to the Muslim community during the holy month of Ramadan.
In keeping with an annual tradition, the NPA donated essential items to the Office of the National Chief Imam, symbolizing its commitment to fostering interfaith relations and community well-being. Mr. Tameklo, along with his deputies Dr. Sheila Addo and Dr. Dramani Bukari, as well as other senior officials, led the delegation for the presentation.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Tameklo emphasized the importance of unity and the NPA’s dedication to supporting diverse religious communities.
“Ramadan is a period of devotion, sacrifice, and generosity. At the NPA, we believe in standing in solidarity with our Muslim brothers and sisters, acknowledging their faith and contributions to national unity,” he stated.
He reaffirmed that the NPA remains committed to sustaining this tradition, ensuring that religious inclusivity and support for various faith groups remain a core part of its operations.
His Eminence, Dr. Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, warmly welcomed the NPA’s gesture, expressing gratitude for the consistent support.
“This annual act of kindness from the NPA embodies the true spirit of Ramadan—compassion, generosity, and community support. We appreciate this gesture and pray for continued success and blessings upon Mr. Tameklo and his team,” he remarked.
He also used the opportunity to offer prayers for the leadership of the NPA, seeking divine guidance for their endeavors.
The donation event served as a powerful reminder of the role corporate entities play in national development and social cohesion. By actively engaging in religious and cultural celebrations, organizations like the NPA contribute to strengthening interfaith relationships and promoting inclusivity in Ghana.
As the Muslim community continues to observe Ramadan through fasting, prayer, and charity, the NPA’s initiative reflects the importance of corporate partnerships in enhancing social unity.
