The New Patriotic Party in the Akan Constituency has stepped up efforts to strengthen its grassroots structures by urging members and supporters to register for party membership cards.
Mr. Merigah Abdul Sataru, the Constituency Secretary, emphasized that the registration exercise is crucial for building a credible and reliable database of party members. He noted that such a database would enhance communication, coordination, and mobilisation efforts across polling stations.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in Kadjebi, Mr. Sataru explained that the initiative is part of broader strategies to reorganize the Party at the grassroots level, ensuring that no interested member is left out.
He encouraged members to register using the online platform (https://member.newpatrioticparty.org) or seek assistance from polling station executives to complete the process smoothly.
According to Mr. Sataru, maintaining a well-documented membership base will not only improve internal coordination but also position the Party strongly as it prepares to contest and reclaim political power in the 2028 general elections.
He called on supporters to actively participate in the exercise, stressing that their involvement is key to revitalizing the Party’s presence and influence in the constituency and beyond.
