The upcoming Agritech West Africa 2025 exhibition is set to position Ghana as a hub for agricultural innovation and international partnerships when it opens on September 19–20 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Organised by Synergice Events India with support from the West African Chamber of Agriculture (WACOA), Croplife Ghana, and the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), the exhibition will bring together more than 100 companies from 10 countries, including Ghana, India, Turkey, China, the UK, and Italy.
Exhibitors will showcase a wide range of solutions—from modern agrochemicals and irrigation systems to biofeeds, packaging technologies, and food processing equipment—all aimed at helping West African farmers and agribusinesses improve productivity and competitiveness.
According to the organisers, over 4,000 visitors are expected, including farmers, agribusiness operators, food processors, distributors, retailers, and exporters. The event will run alongside Agrochem Agro Input Ghana and Agro Process Pack Ghana, making it a one-stop platform for stakeholders across the agricultural value chain.
A major highlight will be a two-day seminar and conference, where farmer organisations, research institutions, ministries, and trade associations will discuss emerging technologies, policy issues, and strategies to boost food security and value addition in agriculture.
Mr. Thomas James, Project Director of Agritech West Africa, said the exhibition was designed not only to showcase products but also to foster joint ventures, promote technology transfer, and open up new investment opportunities.
“This aligns perfectly with Ghana’s development agenda of promoting value-added agriculture, strengthening the national economy, and ensuring food security,” he said.
With strong backing from the Ministries of Food and Agriculture and Trade and Industry, as well as associations such as the Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) and the Food and Beverage Association of Ghana, Agritech West Africa 2025 is expected to serve as a catalyst for innovation-driven growth in the sector.
