The Central East Regional Police Command has issued a strong warning to individuals involved in the narcotics trade, vowing an unrelenting crackdown on drug-related activities in the region.
Head of Public Affairs, DSP Victor Kofi Dosoo, said the recent arrest of suspects in a drug operation was a clear signal that the Command is intensifying its fight against the menace. “Those engaged in the drug business must stop now or face the full rigours of the law,” he cautioned.
While commending the arresting officers for their professionalism and swift action, DSP Dosoo stressed that the success of the campaign depends on public cooperation. He urged residents to report any suspicious drug or criminal activity to the police, assuring them of confidentiality and protection.
“We will not relent. Our communities must be safe, and we need the public’s support to rid them of drugs and crime,” he said.
The Command reiterated its commitment to constant vigilance and proactive measures to safeguard lives and property in the Central East Region.
