In a move aimed at strengthening the club’s leadership framework, Accra Hearts of Oak has appointed former Head Coach Aboubakar Ouattara as Special Advisor to its Board of Directors.
Ouattara, who recently stepped down as head coach of the senior team, will now leverage his experience and insight in an advisory capacity, working closely with the board on key projects and strategic initiatives to help propel the club forward.
The club’s management expressed gratitude for Ouattara’s impactful tenure, highlighting his professionalism and innovative approach during his time at the helm of the senior team. The transition comes as Mas-ud Didi Dramani assumes the head coach position under a two-year contract.
“As Special Advisor, Aboubakar Ouattara will be instrumental in guiding the board on special assignments and duties,” the club’s statement noted, while also conveying congratulations on his new appointment.
This reshuffling signals Hearts of Oak’s commitment to continuity and harnessing internal expertise as the club seeks to build on recent successes and reach new heights in Ghanaian football.
