The Mount Moriah Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at Danfa has officially launched its 2026 Youth and Students Week, using the occasion to rally support for the construction of a new children’s chapel.
The colourful service, marked by young congregants dressed in their old Senior High School uniforms, combined celebration with a renewed commitment to spiritual development and youth empowerment. The nostalgic display added vibrancy to the launch and symbolised the growth journey of young members within the church.
In his sermon, Rev. Daniel Kwesi Ayim, Minister in charge of the Mount Moriah Congregation, encouraged members to move beyond their comfort zones and actively pursue spiritual growth and purpose. He urged the youth to embrace opportunities for service and leadership within the church.
The Youth and Students Week is a dedicated annual programme focused on mentoring and equipping young people as future leaders of the church and society. Activities lined up for the week include discussions on the positive impact of social media and other engagements aimed at strengthening faith and personal development.
The congregation also unveiled its 2026 fundraising initiative to mobilise resources for the children’s chapel project, underscoring its commitment to creating a nurturing spiritual environment for the next generation.
