Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, widely known as Nana Agradaa, has regained her freedom after serving eight months of a reduced sentence at Nsawam Prison.
Her husband, Asiamah, confirmed her return home in a Facebook post on Tuesday, March 3, saying, “Thank God my wife is finally home.” Nana Agradaa is expected to make her first public appearance later in the day, joining members of her church for fellowship.
The former fetish priestess-turned-evangelist was originally sentenced to 15 years in July 2025 for defrauding by false pretence and charlatanic advertisement. Her legal team successfully appealed the ruling, with the Amasaman High Court reducing the sentence to 12 months, deeming the initial punishment excessive.
Her release was granted under Ghana’s standard remission rules after serving two-thirds of the revised term, marking a significant step in her legal journey and allowing her to reunite with family and supporters.
