The National Service Authority has unveiled plans to roll out a nationwide military orientation programme for all National Service personnel starting July 2026, aiming to strengthen discipline, patriotism, and physical fitness among young graduates.
Chief Executive Officer Ruth Dela Seddoh announced the initiative during a graduation ceremony for 40 personnel who completed a two-week intensive military boot camp at the 1BN, Michel Camp, organised by TDC Ghana Ltd. The cohort included 22 males and 18 females.
Seddoh praised the efforts of TDC Ghana Ltd and its Managing Director, Courage Makafui Nunekpeku, urging other organisations to replicate such initiatives that combine skill-building with national service objectives.
Speaking at the event, Nunekpeku encouraged graduates to leverage the discipline and leadership skills gained during the boot camp to make meaningful contributions in their communities and workplaces.
The National Service Authority’s upcoming programme reflects a broader effort to equip Ghanaian youth with not just professional skills but also the resilience, leadership, and civic responsibility needed to serve the nation effectively.
