Nestlé Ghana Limited has launched a three-month “Maggi Loyalty Promo” aimed at rewarding loyal market women and customers, while ensuring consistent product availability across the country.
The promotion, unveiled in Accra, offers prizes including televisions, refrigerators, and plots of land. Speaking at the event, Mr Agyemang Duah said the initiative recognises the commitment of market women who have supported the brand for over two decades.
“These women are not just distributors; they are community leaders and household pillars,” he noted. Mr Duah added that localisation of Maggi production in Ghana and partnerships with a co-packer have addressed previous logistical challenges, ensuring full stock availability.
Mr Mark Okyere Mensah highlighted that customer feedback had informed improvements to product texture and quality, with a new and improved Maggi version set to saturate the market within months.
Traders welcomed the initiative. Maame Esi Mensah of Makola Market said the promo and improved supply would help businesses recover from past shortages and described prizes like plots of land as transformative for beneficiaries.
The programme reflects Nestlé Ghana’s dual focus on rewarding loyalty and reinforcing supply chains, strengthening its engagement with key community stakeholders while boosting accessibility of a staple cooking ingredient.
