Renowned radio personality, Ohemaa, has spoken out about her tumultuous relationship with the management of Angel FM, shedding light on a series of challenges she faced under the leadership of CEO Vincent and other executives.
Taking to Facebook, Ohemaa detailed incidents that, in her view, reflected a pattern of unfair treatment and deliberate sidelining. Among her grievances, she accused CEO Vincent of excluding her and her team from moving into the station’s new building without providing any explanation.
“He sidelined my hardworking team from joining Angel FM at the new building for no reason,” she disclosed.
Beyond the alleged exclusion, Ohemaa claimed that CEO Vincent actively undermined her work by interfering with her show’s programming. According to her, the CEO would override her authority and reassign her slot for interviews of his choosing.
“CEO Vincent would ask his preferred host to take my show for an interview that’s within my slot,” she stated.
She also recounted an instance where she was pressured into soliciting money from gospel musician Diana Hamilton before conducting an interview with her.
“He asked that I take money from musician Diana Hamilton when she came on my show for an interview,” she revealed.
Ohemaa further described an instance where she was issued a formal query after introducing Saddick Adams as the morning show host, a move she insists was justified.
“He sent me a query for introducing Saddick Adams as our morning show host which I didn’t goof,” she clarified.
Additionally, she accused CEO Vincent of fabricating claims that she had insulted Dr. Oteng, the owner of Angel FM, in a bid to damage her reputation.
“He lied to Dr. Oteng that I called his phone to insult him when nothing of that sort had ever existed,” she alleged.
Ohemaa also pointed fingers at CEO Vincent and the station’s commercial director, Barbara, for allegedly spreading false accusations that she used her platform to solicit funds for musician Okomfour Kwaadee.
“They mounted pressure on Apeanti to query me upon a lie they orchestrated that I used the platform to solicit funds for Okomfour Kwaadee, which never existed,” she said, adding that even when a meeting proved the claims were false, no apology was issued.
Her revelations shed light on internal power struggles at Angel FM, sparking concerns about workplace management and fairness. While her account has gained attention, the station’s leadership has yet to respond to the allegations.
