Stephen Amoah, popularly known as Sticka, the Member of Parliament for Nhyiaeso in the Ashanti Region, has strongly refuted claims made in the party’s report on the 2024 election loss. He has accused the leadership of deliberately tarnishing his image and misrepresenting his role in the campaign.
In an interview with Hello FM on March 3, 2025, Amoah expressed his frustration over allegations that he had operated an alternative campaign team separate from the party’s official structure. He also dismissed claims that he failed to put up posters and billboards, arguing that these accusations were unfair and misleading.
The MP questioned why certain individuals were left out of the party’s post-election review while others, including himself, were singled out. He warned that if the leadership did not retract the report and issue an apology, he would be forced to reveal the full truth behind the party’s poor performance in the Ashanti Region.
His comments highlight growing tensions within the party as members seek accountability for their electoral defeat. The question now remains whether the leadership will respond to his ultimatum or risk further internal divisions.
