Lady Reverend Grace-Tera Korsinah of God’s Haven Ministries is advocating a shift in the global conversation on gender equality, urging a stronger focus on spiritual principles rather than relying solely on policy and social campaigns.
Reflecting on discussions surrounding International Women’s Day, she questioned the long-term impact of popular gender advocacy movements, suggesting that despite increased awareness, many systemic challenges such as wage gaps and limited opportunities persist.
According to Rev. Korsinah, efforts to address gender inequality have often centered on human-driven solutions, which she believes overlook deeper underlying issues. She argued that true transformation requires a return to what she described as God’s original design for humanity, where both men and women function in harmony.
She emphasized that the pursuit of equality should not be framed as a conflict between men and women but rather as a broader effort to address foundational issues affecting both.
Rev. Korsinah further noted that while advocacy initiatives have contributed to increased visibility and policy engagement, they may not fully address the root causes of inequality. She called for a more holistic approach that integrates spiritual reflection with ongoing social and political efforts.
She encouraged individuals, particularly women and advocates, to move beyond symbolic campaigns and embrace deeper personal and societal transformation, stressing that sustainable change requires both internal and external shifts.
