The 2024-25 Ghana Premier League took another dramatic turn in Week 31, with title contenders and relegation fighters alike making bold statements as the season enters its final stretch.
At the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Asante Kotoko reasserted their title ambitions with a commanding 4-1 victory over Dreams FC. Kwame Poku’s clinical brace, supported by goals from Albert Amoah and Wisdom Bassey, ensured a comfortable win for the Porcupine Warriors. Meanwhile, Accra Hearts of Oak kept their slim title hopes alive with a hard-fought 1-0 away win over Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park. Maxwell Wayo’s decisive second-half strike helped the Phobians bounce back from their recent draw against Kotoko, pushing them up to sixth place on 49 points.
