President John Dramani Mahama is set to engage traditional leaders and other key stakeholders in the Central Region as part of a two-day visit aimed at strengthening government-community relations and advancing development initiatives.
The visit, scheduled for June 26 to June 27, forms part of the President’s nationwide “Resetting Ghana” tour, which seeks to bring the Presidency closer to citizens while assessing progress on government programmes.
During the tour, President Mahama is expected to hold meetings with chiefs and other stakeholders across the region to discuss development priorities and gather feedback on issues affecting local communities.
He will also inspect ongoing projects and perform sod-cutting ceremonies for new development initiatives earmarked for the region.
The Resetting Ghana tour is intended to create a platform for direct engagement between the Presidency and local communities, while providing residents with updates on government policies, programmes and efforts to accelerate national development.
