The National Organizer hopeful of the People’s National Convention (PNC) has extended his best wishes to the leadership, delegates, and aspirants of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) ahead of their constituency internal elections.
He stated in a press release that, internal elections are a vital test of a political party’s commitment to democracy, leadership renewal, and democratic development.
“As you prepare to elect your leaders, I encourage all aspirants and delegates to demonstrate maturity, discipline, tolerance, and respect for one another,” he noted.
He added that leadership is not only about winning a position, but rather accepting responsibility, serving the people, and building a stronger organization.
He urged aspirants to remember that political competition is just a game and, therefore, shouldn’t annihilate the good relationships and common values that unite them and that candidates who emerge victorious should remain humble, while those who do not win should maintain a strong commitment to their party.
Moreover, he wished the NDC a peaceful, credible, and successful internal election. May Ghana’s political system continue to grow stronger.
