The schedule forms part of the party’s 2026 internal electoral roadmap approved by the Functional Executive Committee (FEC), as the NDC begins the process of electing new national executives ahead of the 2028 general election.
According to the timetable, nominations will open at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 20, and close at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21. Prospective aspirants are required to submit their applications online through the party’s designated portal, forms.ghanandc.com.
Successful applicants will be given 14 days to complete their nomination forms and obtain the required endorsements.
The party has scheduled the filing of nominations from November 7 to November 9, during which completed forms must be submitted electronically and in hard copy at the NDC national headquarters between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.
Vetting of candidates seeking national executive positions will take place on November 12 and 13 at the party’s national headquarters.
The NDC said the timetable provides a clear framework for nominations, filing, vetting and other stages of the national executive election process.
It urged aspirants, party executives and members to comply strictly with all timelines and procedures to ensure a transparent, orderly and credible internal election.
