President of Ghana, Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang is expected to headline discussions on leadership, governance and Africa’s development outlook at the 12th edition of the Yamson & Associates Business Roundtable scheduled for May 28, 2026 in Accra.
The annual forum, organised by Ishmael Yamson & Associates, is expanding its focus this year beyond Ghana’s policy environment to address broader continental economic priorities and Africa’s long-term competitiveness.
A statement from the organisers said the 2026 edition, themed “Unlocking the Next Quarter Century,” will bring together about 1,000 in-person delegates and more than 15,000 virtual participants across Africa.
The event is designed as a major platform for dialogue between government, business leaders and investors, focusing on five key areas: digital infrastructure, trade and AfCFTA integration, energy and industrial development, leadership and governance, and youth-driven societal transformation.
Organisers say the goal is to strengthen collaboration between the public and private sectors to accelerate Africa’s economic transformation over the next 25 years.
Confirmed speakers include John Jinapor, energy and green transition minister; Sir Sam Jonah of Sam Jonah; Ralph Mupita; and Pan-African scholar Patrick Lumumba.
The Roundtable will also feature high-level networking sessions aimed at strengthening partnerships among policymakers, corporate leaders and investors.
Organisers say the ultimate ambition is to generate actionable strategies that position Africa as a global economic powerhouse by 2050.
