Management of Bills Micro-Credit Limited has announced the immediate suspension of officers involved in an incident captured in a viral video circulating on social media.
In an update issued by the company, the decision was taken following a directive from the Board while investigations into the matter continue.
According to the statement, the officers involved have also been handed over to the Ghana Police Service to assist with independent investigations into the incident.
The company further disclosed that the Board has reached out to the customer involved and will continue to engage with her as the investigative process unfolds.
