Women organisers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at branch level in the Sunyani East Constituency have thrown their support behind Mrs Fati Kine-Lam’s bid to become the party’s next Bono Regional Women’s Organiser.
The branch organisers said Mrs Kine-Lam’s longstanding involvement in grassroots mobilisation and her contribution to the party’s activities made her a strong candidate for the regional position.
Mrs Kine-Lam, who is the Bono Regional Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NaDMO), also serves as the NDC Women’s Organiser for the Sunyani East Constituency.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Sunyani, the women organisers described her as a committed party member whose activities had helped strengthen the NDC’s grassroots structures in the constituency and beyond.
Maame Vida, one of the branch women organisers, said Mrs Kine-Lam had demonstrated commitment to the advancement of women while remaining actively involved in the party’s grassroots activities.
“Fati has dedicated herself not only to the growth of the NDC but has also been sensitive to the plight of women in the Bono Region,” she said.
She further cited loyalty, inclusiveness and accountability as qualities that had characterised Mrs Kine-Lam’s involvement in the party’s affairs.
Another branch organiser, Mrs Beatrice Asibi, said the aspirant had established a strong grassroots network within the NDC and believed her leadership would help strengthen the party’s structures ahead of the 2028 general election.
She described Mrs Kine-Lam as selfless, respectful and dedicated to the activities of the party at both constituency and regional levels.
Mrs Asibi also praised her interpersonal skills, saying her friendliness and ability to connect with party members had contributed to making the NDC in Sunyani East more attractive to supporters.
The organisers said Mrs Kine-Lam’s experience in both party organisation and public service had positioned her to contribute to the development of the NDC’s women’s wing in the Bono Region.
They expressed confidence that her grassroots engagement and commitment to women’s participation in the party would strengthen the regional women’s structure if she secured the position.
