The Frankfurt Chapter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Germany Branch is spearheading a fresh communication strategy aimed at reshaping the party’s public image ahead of Ghana’s 2028 general elections.
The chapter has announced a virtual high-level forum focused on addressing what it describes as weaknesses in the party’s current communication approach and developing a stronger electoral narrative.
The event, themed “Rebuilding the Narratives: Fixing NPP’s Communication Strategy for Electoral Success in 2028,” is scheduled for Sunday, May 24, 2026.
In a statement issued by Michael Arthur (McArthur), an aspiring Communications Officer for the NPP Germany Branch, the initiative was described as a crucial step toward strengthening the party’s political messaging both at home and abroad.
According to the chapter, the forum will assess communication gaps that may have affected the party’s ability to effectively connect with voters and will explore strategies to build a more compelling message ahead of the next elections.
Leading the discussions are two prominent figures within the party — Nana Akomea, a senior political strategist and advisor to Mahamudu Bawumia, and Henry Kwabena Kokofu.
The forum, being organised under the leadership of Joseph Kwasi Kintor, will focus on improving how the party communicates its achievements, correcting messaging weaknesses, and building a stronger narrative capable of resonating with voters.
Michael Arthur is expected to moderate the virtual session, which organisers say also reflects efforts to groom a new generation of communication strategists within the party.
The event will be held via Zoom and is open to NPP supporters, sympathisers, and stakeholders across the world as the party begins early preparations for what is expected to be a highly competitive 2028 election race.
